Integrated program for people living with disabilities (IPPD) is a church-based organization which was founded in 1993. His Lordship the Bishop of Homa-Bay is the legal holder.
Homa Bay Catholic Justice and Peace Department
CJPD is the executive organ of the Homa Bay Diocese for Justice and Peace issues. It fulfils the Diocese’s objectives to promote justice and challenge oppressive structures of governance in Kenya.
AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM (AEP)
AEP operates in zones where poverty, natural resource degradation, and food insecurity levels are high. Challenges include scarce land and water resources, declining soil productivity, high pest and disease incidences, changing climatic conditions, and limited access to resources for women, who are the main drivers of agricultural production.
USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto
USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) project that is funded by the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). UNYM implements the Kenya Health Partnerships for Quality Services (KHPQS) - DREAMS and OVC program in Homa Bay, Kisii and Migori counties. The project is being implemented by a PATH Kenya-led consortium of Kenyan Non-Governmental Organizations over a five-year period from March 18, 2021, to March 17, 2026. UNYM’s activities are aligned to the purpose of the KHPQS – that is to increase use of quality county-led health and social services in select counties in Kenya.
