St. Peters Disability Centre, Catholic Diocese of Homa Bay successfully provided training for board members and school leadership on finance and inclusive budgeting. Undertaken by the Catholic Diocese of Homa Bay and funded through Cheshire Disability Services, the training focused on improving financial management principles, budget planning, inclusive budgeting strategies, financial accountability, and monitoring. The training involved lectures, workshops, case studies, and group activities, with participation from diverse educational institutions. Participants showed improved understanding and skills in financial management and inclusive budgeting, leading to increased confidence in managing school finances. The training promoted equitable and transparent financial processes, contributing to better educational outcomes for all students.
