Caritas Homabay under the Catholic Diocese of Homa Bay, with support from Cheshire Disability Services Kenya, trained 30% of health workers in Level 2 and 3 facilities on inclusive data management, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and decision-making at Blue Ridge Resort, Mbita. The training aimed to enhance the capacity of health workers to manage disability-inclusive data, ensuring that health services for individuals with disabilities are properly tracked, analyzed, and integrated into decision-making processes. Activities included workshops, practical sessions, and providing resources for ongoing support. Outcomes included improved skills in data management among health workers, greater awareness of the importance of inclusive data, and better-informed decision-making in healthcare delivery.
