Learning resources were provided by The Catholic Diocese of Homa Bay to ensure effective implementation of inclusive education. In order for the students to gain intellectual skills, cognitive strategies that will improve their future and well-being and adequate teaching. Provision of scholastic kits for 84 children (Male:27; Female: 57) with disabilities 51 primary & 33 secondary schools.
Moreover, Mrs. Caroline Health facility Coordinator for Homa Bay Cluster from Kenya Aids Response Programme an expert on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information and services. Trained 23 youth (Male:5; Female:18;) with disabilities. The aim was to Adolescents who are future generation of our country. It is a vulnerable age making them susceptible to many health issues such as reproductive tract infections because of improper menstrual hygiene, sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
